this lovely grandy makes the most delicious 雞蛋仔 in hong kong! wanna taste it? you gotta have luck and need to wait for another 15 mins (at least ) then. sitting at her unique little shop (home actually) in 長洲, feeling the breeze on the island, watching kids playing basketball in front of the temple, smelling the sweetie air of baking, listening to grandma's cute warm mumbly voice.... well, these make her fresh made 雞蛋仔 no longer only 雞蛋仔. It’s good for us to see passion and expression, coming from a completely different sensibility. Even though it's ‘only’ the making of 雞蛋仔; i love 雞蛋仔, but only the crispy good ones.
