I finished reading Atonement last night. Although I have seen the movie already, reading the book made me appreciate and understand the movie more. The story made me so thankful that my loved one is so close to me, in fact, he was in the next room as I read through the last pages of the novel. I take comfort that the courts today weight testimonies from children differently than adults. However, we are reminded that things might not appear as they seem. Maybe in order to be more courteous toward others, we must see things more throughly without over anaylizing. Otherwise, we could unknowingly cause trouble for those we love. I have no idea what I am doing...I want to have a photo page but it ain't working. I will mail the book to you? Will you have time to read it anytime soon though? Maybe I will give it to mom to give to you. :) I watched the movie again this weekend and it made much more sense. | |
