Maybe I shouldn't have watched this "weird" movie about perfume a while back (click on "link" above) because everytime I search for reviews and information on a perfume I feel like I might be a psycho murderer. I have been searching for a new perfume for a while, since I ran out of my college favorite: Tommy Girl. Yeah, it's time for an update, I mean, I will have graduated for 5 years in March *cringe (I am old!)*. I still remember being 18 and purchasing the perfume as a "getting into the university" present to myself - it even came with a canvas tote. Whoa, so one perfume through all these years, you ask. Actually no, I was really into Ralph two years later and bought it during my first ever trip to NYC. However, it was only my second favorite. Then I got three different ones as presents (all from guys other than Kei) and they were great too, mostly. Okay, I only liked the one from PM. Still, I want to find a staple that I can always go back to and count on because some scents can only be worn during certain occasions. I wanted a well-rounded all-occasion all-season scent. I think I might have found it, after many spraying sessions, first on paper, then on person. It was a lot of work. It was one of those really busy weekends. There is still so much to be done around the house though - maybe it's time to be a real full time housewife. Three loads of laundry, a trip to Costco, a trip to Trader Joe's. Then finally changing my summer weight jersey sheets for cozy flannel ones. The extracurricular activities this weekend has taught me two important lessons: One, I am out of shape, and two, bowling and air hockey is a bad mix! (I don't even especially like these activities really.) I totally strained my right arm - it was hurting so badly that even when I turned the faucet knobs my arm felt sore. Ugh. It would have made more sense if I were carrying an arm load of shopping bags! A plan has been mapped out for me to "love the gym," for health's sake. Hopefully I will be going at least 5 days a week - we'll see how long this lasts.

Magma introduced us to Beard Papa's creme puffs. They are awesome indeed~~ The chocolate layer was almost crispy and the filling was not too sweet. It was the perfect combination. Find them at Uwajimaya. We had a great afternoon having lunch, puffs, tea, and then shopping of course. Too bad JBB could not join us!

[天氣] 最近西雅圖冷到一個不行 我都寧願它下雨所以會溫暖一點 但是一直沒有 每天早上在走去公車站的時候我都會想起應該要戴的手套 帽子跟圍巾都有戴可以還是很冷 剪短髮後我的頭部變得更怕冷 但是每天都能戴不同的帽子也不錯 [酒] 昨天晚上跟前同事去Happy Hour 她點了冰啤酒我則點了熱清酒 因為我怕冷 結果他啤酒還喝不到1/3臉就整個紅了 但是她清醒的很 我是全部都喝完了也不紅 但沒她清醒 她一直說是我血液循環不好 不知道是真的還假的 :( [習慣] 剛從台灣回來時每餐都吃得差不多多 真是好習慣 雖然說晚餐應該最少 但是現在又快回到以前的壞習慣 早午餐最少 晚餐最多 真的該早點起床吃飯...

(to view photos click "next image" on top, in the grey box.) 在這次之前寶貝算是沒來過高雄 可惜這次也在高雄短短兩天 而且不是連在一起的兩天 因為時間緊迫所以就決定帶著愛吃海產的寶貝去旗津看看海吃吃蝦 在導遊媽的帶領下我們搭公車到渡輪站 然後搭渡輪去旗津 旗津真的很小 一兩下就逛完了 看到用bb槍射氣球他忍不住想玩 還有點不好意思 讓我沒養過兒子的媽覺得很新鮮 男生跟女生還是不一樣 Then we went to the beach for a bit but it was really too hot, so we had a great seafood lunch with Taiwan Beer (Gold Label.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There will be more photos soon~ Thank you for your patience ^___^

Kei and I have not gone on any dates for a while. Especially not downtown because he has been so busy with school and that he usually does not like to be bothered with parking. However, yesterday we decided to go out for a dinner and movie - the classic date. Even though a wind strom blew on we still had a good time. We went to "our" restaurant and went to a theatre in downtown. Unfortunately we missed the first part of the film - who knew the theatre plays previews early now so that the movie starts right ON time. It has been a while since we went to a downtown theatre as well. The film was very funny, Kei did a good job picking it. We were tired around 9:30, talking about getting old! It was just so nice to be able to walk around holding hands.

Lucky for Seattlites, H&M opened 3 branches in the area. I went after work yesterday, solo. I went crazy and grabbed everything I wanted, as I waited in line for the dressing room I was reminded of another time and place. Boston. H&M. More than one year ago. My baby patiently waited for me as I tried on article after article of clothing and gave me his opinion. This went on for hours and he did not complain once. I think he sincerely understood my love for cute clothes and H&M. Everytime I visited Boston, he tiredlessly accompanied me there knowing that this was a store that I could not have visited in Seattle. Now that's been changed with the openings of the new Seattle area stores. However, each time that I go I will be reminded of how sweet my baby was and still is. I love him. ^___^

I finished reading Atonement last night. Although I have seen the movie already, reading the book made me appreciate and understand the movie more. The story made me so thankful that my loved one is so close to me, in fact, he was in the next room as I read through the last pages of the novel. I take comfort that the courts today weight testimonies from children differently than adults. However, we are reminded that things might not appear as they seem. Maybe in order to be more courteous toward others, we must see things more throughly without over anaylizing. Otherwise, we could unknowingly cause trouble for those we love.
