More In February, with a timely browsing of my favorite "H" magazine, a friend and I went to Kyoto to see an exhibition by MAYA MAXX titled "For Tomorrow." I first learned of her when I saw the movie version of "Honey & Clover"---her artworks were featured as Hagu-chan's paintings. I loved her little drawings of little Aung San Suu Kyi, Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana on large pieces of drawing paper... Then we got ourselves a little lost on the way to Sarasa, an old bath-house turned cafe. With the intricate tiles in mind, I wrote this song. Too many choices Too few choices 「おわりにしよう。」 Jumping to the conclusion Before opening the book A place to belong to Someone to call home Less |
