today, while waiting for the bus in chinatown/ opposite the sub courts, i saw an old lady strapped to a stretcher, head bleeding, and being carried onto the ambulance.

the ambulance was there before i reached the bus stop, but she was brought there only after i had sat down, taken out my ipod, and listened to 5 whole songs.

when i saw her, i had to fight back tears. and all i could do was pray.
