He connected the seconds hand to the minutes hand to the hours hand, the result is kinetic artwork that changes it shape continiously during a 12 hours rotation. Of course, this isn't a new clock concept, I've seen one before but it didn't look so nice as this one with its open brass clockwork and aluminum hands.
